When it comes to fiberglass, Mr. Du Plessis is the man to learn from. I know, I've been anchored next to him in Trinidad many times and have attended a couple of his lectures. Hugo has to be the most passionate person on the planet when it comes to fiberglass. He's got a thing or two to say about the cruising community, sailors, the weather and may even spin a yarn or two if you've a mind to listen as well. He is a font of knowledge and fortunately he's written the best book on fiberglass boats out there. A few bucks and a read of this tome could save you thousands of dollars when that expert in the shipyard tries to convince you to peal your boat.
